An instant #1 New York Times Bestseller and a USA Today and Indie Bestseller!
The Stormlight Archive saga continues in Rhythm of War, the eagerly awaited sequel to Brandon Sanderson’s #1 New York Times bestselling Oathbringer, from an epic fantasy writer at the top of his game.
After forming a coalition of human resistance against the enemy invasion, Dalinar Kholin and his Knights Radiant have spent a year fighting a protracted, brutal war. Neither side has gained an advantage, and the threat of a betrayal by Dalinar’s crafty ally Taravangian looms over every strategic move.
Now, as new technological discoveries by Navani Kholin’s scholars begin to change the face of the war, the enemy prepares a bold and dangerous operation. The arms race that follows will challenge the very core of the Radiant ideals, and potentially reveal the secrets of the ancient tower that was once the heart of their strength.
At the same time that Kaladin Stormblessed must come to grips with his changing role within the Knights Radiant, his Windrunners face their own problem: As more and more deadly enemy Fused awaken to wage war, no more honorspren are willing to bond with humans to increase the number of Radiants. Adolin and Shallan must lead the coalition’s envoy to the honorspren stronghold of Lasting Integrity and either convince the spren to join the cause against the evil god Odium, or personally face the storm of failure.

What Audible Listeners Are Saying
5/5 stars — “Great story BUT!!!”
Well this has been a journey. it was grueling at parts. And i will say that i loved it. having so many of my theories about the Cosmere proved right. And that of the stories plot. but damn that ending was like a slap in the spheres. Sanderson is truly the master of misdirection. While i did like the book! I prefer the fist three. but thats because those books are works of art. This ones seems to be more of a steppingstone to another story more important to the author.— The Broken Melody, Audible listener
5/5 stars — “I’ve never cried so much while reading a book.”
This book was a roller coaster of emotions for me. I love it and the characters feel so real to me. Kaladin has actually saved my life several times because everytime I’ve gotten to that clifts edge. I listen to the seen at the chasm. And I say to myself while crying. One more try. Thank you for creating stories that actually help people.— John, Audible listener
5/5 stars — “Best SA yet?”
I think this is one of the better Stormlight Archive books. I enjoyed this equally or maybe even a bit more than Words of Radiance which was my favorite prior to this one.— Ben Baldivia, Audible listener
