Think you know the person you married? Think again…
Things have been wrong with Mr and Mrs Wright for a long time. When Adam and Amelia win a weekend away to Scotland, it might be just what their marriage needs. Self-confessed workaholic and screenwriter Adam Wright has lived with face blindness his whole life. He can’t recognize friends or family, or even his own wife.
Every anniversary the couple exchange traditional gifts – paper, cotton, pottery, tin – and each year Adam’s wife writes him a letter that she never lets him read. Until now. They both know this weekend will make or break their marriage, but they didn’t randomly win this trip. One of them is lying, and someone doesn’t want them to live happily ever after.
Ten years of marriage. Ten years of secrets. And an anniversary they will never forget.

What Audible Listeners Are Saying
3/5 stars — “Very Slow, But An Explosive Ending”
This book starts out very slow and stays that way to about the last ten Chapters. I wasn’t sure I would finish, but glad I did. There are major plot twists and surprises toward the end.The narrators were good, but I felt almost no emotion from either of them. They sounded flat throughout the book, which may be the reason it felt so slow.
I do suggest you give this a listen though, because the last of the book is worth it.

3/5 stars — “Could have passed “
The storyline was likeable, but the female nahratorator was soooooooooooo obnoxious. She varies in speed so much, that you speed it up because you can’t stand it and then, you have to slow it back down. At times I counted more than 2 seconds between words. SUCH A DRAAAAAAG.— Mike Thompson, Audible listener
3/5 stars — “Good but slow”
This was ok, but the author drew the story out so long I got bored.— Jennifer P., Audible listener
