Publisher’s Summary
Books one through three in the hit The Path of Ascension series are now available in this special audio bundle. It also includes book 3.5, an exclusive novella set between books three and four in the series.
Orphaned by monsters, Matt must power-up to save others from the same fate.
Matt plans to delve the rifts responsible for the monsters that destroyed his city and murdered his parents. But his dreams are crushed when his Tier One Talent is rated as detrimental, and no guild or group will take him.
Working at a nearby inn, he meets a mysterious and powerful couple who give him a chance to join the Path of Ascension, an empire-wide race to ascend the Tiers and become living legends.
With their recommendation and a stolen Skill, Matt begins his journey to the peak of power. Maybe then, he can get vengeance he seeks….
About the series: This is a mix between LitRPG and xianxia. It’s like a car that looks like a LitRPG with dungeons and skills, but the interior and engine are all xianxia. It features a magic system and progression system that are logically and internally consistent, as well as realistic fight scenes and a rational MC.

What Audible Listeners Are Saying
4/5 stars — “A new drinking game”
I really enjoyed this book and look forward to book 4. I think they could do with less mention of phantom cracked armor (PCA) though. I seriously think that if you and a group of adults were listening to this, the mention of PCA would get someone pretty drunk.— Chris Heins, Audible listener
4/5 stars — “Conflicted”
The narration of the story is excellent, but the narration of the dialogue and/or conversation between characters is not. It would have been better if he maintain the pitch used when narrating the story for the character interaction. The back and forth between "bad acting" and awesome narration made me conflicted. I wanted to quit but then continue to listen in hopes it got better over time. Overall the book I enjoy so far, but the dialogue between characters needs work.— Meolti Chara, Audible listener
4/5 stars — “Love the story narration gets better”
Love the story and character developments. Narration in the first book feels like he’s always yelling in your ear but by the third book it gets better.— Samuel michaelson, Audible listener
