Publisher’s Summary
A galvanizing playbook for success from Steven Bartlett, one of the world’s most exciting entrepreneurs and the host of the No. 1 podcast The Diary of a CEO
“This is a must-read for anyone dreaming of doing something audacious.” Jay Shetty
“Valuable lessons about the importance of following a different and unconventional path to power.” Robert Greene
At the very heart of all the success and failure I’ve been exposed to – both my own entrepreneurial journey and through the thousands of interviews I’ve conducted on my chart-topping podcast – are a set of principles that ensure excellence.
These fundamental laws underpinned my meteoric rise, and they will fuel yours too, whether you want to build something great or become someone great. The laws are rooted in psychology and behavioral science, in my own experiences, and those of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs, entertainers, artists, writers, and athletes, who I’ve interviewed on my podcast.
These laws will stand the test of time and will help anyone master their life and unleash their potential, no matter the field.
They are the secret sauce to success.

What Audible Listeners Are Saying
5/5 stars — “after the first few minutes, I bought the hardcopy”
5 cups and I am determined to start with the first one for the rest of this period of my life until I am ready for the next and then the next….in order diligently and honestly. First thing I learnt was to evaluate where I am..
am I already knowledgeable and have applied that knowledge? am I ready to release and distill that knowledge clearly…if I am not gonna attract the right people and develop the reputation I will soon learn is who I am, yet.Sooo…I have work to do. So work I shall.
Thanks for making use of that brain of yours Steven. Live long, healthy, hungry for knowledge and keep teaching yourself so I can learn from you. The best use of time is truly understanding how to make yourself the best self and most useful and that you are doing so keep it up.

5/5 stars — “Continuing my journey”
This book has inspired me to continue my growth. while teaching me many new views and reinforcing beliefs about management I already had. I’m a recovering alcoholic 2 years sober that also finally got diagnosed with ADHD. I’ve spent my life wondering why I have so much knowledge yet no motivation to move forward amd struggling in my personal life. finding myself I’ve already moved up 2 levels in my corporation from a telecommunications tech to a network project manager (the tech field you said PM’s make the most so I guess I got lucky). But I want to move higher and use my positive personality to help others grow and my company grow. I also have my own ambitions that I feel now, thanks to this book, have a clear goal in mind. It almost felt like this book was written for me, thank you so much.— Kindle Customer, Audible listener
